Removed categories except for the most general kind and converted them to tags. Clicking on tags in the sidebar searches for other posts in inkless with the tag. Clicking on the tags under the post title will search all of wordpress.com for posts with those tags.

Enjoy!

Social networking bookmarks added!

Look, look, look! I added all these nifty button to the end of each (new) post. This is all thanks to Adam over at archGFX with a nice tutorial linked from the wordpress forums.

Anyhow, if any of ya’ll find this stuff I write interesting, please submit them to the social networking site you use. I’m too lazy to personally submit each post to digg to show how many diggs, but you can digg it all you want using the icon on the bottom. But, if you guys do submit something to digg, comment on it so I can get a button up. This should be interesting.

Here it is:
add to del.icio.us :: Add to Blinkslist :: add to furl :: Digg it :: add to ma.gnolia :: Stumble It! :: add to simpy :: seed the vine :: :: :: TailRank :: post to facebook

One for the night.

First of all, WordPress added some tag feature. It’s gonna let me add random tags to my posts instead of just putting them under boring categories, like self, everyday and economics. I still plan to use em though, it’s a quick way to organize things. But I plan to tag like a madman as well. We’ll see how it goes.

Tomorrow is going to be one of the most tiring days yet. 5 hours of sleep – then class from 8am to 12:30pm. Then I have to read a piece by Orwell in order to comment about it on our online class posts by 5. For me though, the deadline is more like 3:30 because I have a consulting club meeting at 4. Which, by the way, is bound to run into turbulence from the varied “visions” the founders seem to have. Oh, joy.

Thank God for good music and the Daily Show. Otherwise, I might have just slit every artery I can reach by now. I spent a horrendous amount of time on my economics work. Somewhere in the range of 8 hours – for 3 exercises. Who knew elasticity could affect a subsidy so much? Am I just inadequate, or do I try too hard? Probably a nice mix of both.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately. You know, while biking to class and such. While it’s true that I am not as happy as I probably could be, it does feel like I’m accomplishing a might lot these days. It feels in order, my professional and academic life. That’s nice.

I think I would trade this order I feel for some chaos in the other parts of my life though. I find myself talking to strangers much more. It is insane. For instance, I had a pretty long and convoluted conversation with this one employee of glasses store about college and the admissions process. It then lead to talk about music, basketball and San Fran. I was just browsing the damn store and BAM! – conversation.

That same day, I talked to an entire group at an auto tune-up shop. I was helping my dad get his car’s maintenance done. Five Indian girls – talking about relationships, children, school and robbing banks. Strange indeed.

Then buying shoes, I learned that the lady who helped me out was Persian and she thought Iran was going in the wrong direction. At least Pumas are popular in Iran too, she told me, as if that would console the social instability.

Am I that desperate for social contact?!

I guess so. Maybe it’s time for crappy beer and mixed drinks that taste only like the alcohol?

Nah. Time for more Nujabes, and sleep. Oh, and tagging like a madman.

‘Tis all.

Why do I blog?

Readership has died recently. The blog stats went from about 80-90 unique views per day to a measly 20 or so. I think people realize that when they search for “emo cartoon” on google, the review for Invader Zim can only go so far alongside the political banter and social whining.

On the other hand, when people ask why I keep this strange little site – I tell them I want to write. The readership count or unique hits shouldn’t matter. I kind of care about who reads this and what not, but I don’t want to continue to care. I need to fall back on the free-for-all writing that drives me.

Therefore, I’m going to take this blog into the private realm and take it off all the search engines and whatnot. I then don’t have to deal with all the weird spam Akismet has been catching.

It’ll be a good thing.

It begins!

Ok so i just started this blog with every intention of writing everyday. I think I’m one of those people who just needs to write about things to get them through my head. Otherwise, I tend to go a tiny bit insane. That banner took a long time. I would like to thank the creator of the theme so have so nicely used black and white instead of some offset pastel colors that seem to be all the rage these days.

Black and white, yep.

Welcome.
